The house provides good sized accommodation and there are stunning far reaching views particularly from the first floor and gardens over the Marshwood Vale to the well known viewpoint of Lewesdon Hill. Character features typical of its age and type include bay windows and panelled doors. Oil-fired central heating is installed and recent improvements including updating of the kitchen and bathrooms and replacement UPVC sealed unit windows (part sash style).

On the ground floor there is an entrance porch leading to reception hall with feature arch, large sitting room (formerly 2 rooms) with a pair of bay windows and stone open fireplace, dining room with period-style fireplace and display shelves/cupboards, study/studio, kitchen with modern units, Lamona electric oven, electric ceramic halogen hob and stainless steel cooker hood, breakfast room, walk-in larder, rear hall, utility and shower room.
