DESCRIPTION This beautifully appointed apartment is situated at the end of a wonderful private road in Stoke. As you enter the private road you make your way down to Lady Hamilton House, having passed a terrace of imposing Georgian buildings. Lady Hamilton House is a beautiful example of a Grade II listed Georgian Style building which has been sympathetically converted into apartments and this apartment is situated on the first floor.

The property is entered via a grand communal entrance into a well-kept communal entrance- there is a wide grand staircase taking you up to the first floor or a lift. A wooden panelled door leads into the flat itself and into the Entrance Hall which is spacious and neutrally decorated, offers a telephone intercom system, space for hanging coats and a useful storage/utility cupboard suitable for a washing machine and tumble dryer if desired. A door leads into the Living Room/Dining Room; which is a bright and airy space with two tall sash windows flooding the room with light. An open doorway leads into the Kitchen; which is fitted with ample matching eye and base level units, space for dishwasher if desired, integrated cooker and four burner gas hob and a small sash window to the side elevation.

The Master Bedroom is a good size double bedroom with built in cupboard and sash window to the front elevation. The Bathroom is fitted with a three piece matching suite comprising of a panelled bath with direct feed shower overhead, low level WC, wash hand basin and has a window to the side elevation.

Externally the gardens are a particular feature of this apartment, being at the end of a cul de sac road means they are very quiet, and you certainly wouldn't know how central you are when stood in them. There are three sections to the gardens, the main area directly behind the building, an area tucked away from sight to hang washing and further 'secret garden' amongst the trees where residents enjoy picnics and BBQ's without being over looked.

The property also benefits from the ability to park within a secure electric gated car park, this is situated to the side of Lady Hamilton House and also offers plenty of visitors parking.

The property really is a gem in the popular Stoke area and is within walking distance to the 'Stoke Village' shops offering amenities such as convenience stores, boutique shops, hair salon and much more as well good local schooling.

STOKE Also referred to by its earlier name of Stoke Damerel, which is a parish, that was once part of historical Devonport. In 1914, Devonport and Plymouth amalgamated with Stonehouse: the new town took the name of Plymouth. Since the amalgamation Stoke has been an inner suburb of Plymouth.

Stoke is now densely built up with houses and apartments, dating back to late Georgian, with a predominance of early Victorian, Edwardian and fewer, 1930s homes. Bisected by the main railway line from Paddington to Penzance. The parish church is notable not only for its evolving architecture, but also its contents and historical connections. The area has been prosperous for several hundred years, and there are some distinguished private houses (several of which feature in Nikolaus Pevsner's book - "The Buildings of South Devon".) There are many examples of properties designed by famed Georgian architect Foulston, within the suburb.

Stoke Damerel and Stuart Road Primary Schools educates pupils of ages 4–11, whilst secondary school children may attend Stoke Community College and is the home of Devonport High School for Boys Grammar School and Devonport Services Rugby Club. Flanked by Central park, Victoria Park and Devonport Park, there are acres of leisure space on the doorstep, with Plymouth Argyle Football Club and the Plymouth Life Centre, both considered to be within walking distance. Plymouth City Centre, is approximately one and a half miles away.

PLYMOUTH Plymouth is a city with one of the largest natural harbours in the world. To the north is the Dartmoor National Park extending to over 300 square miles which provides excellent recreational facilities. Plymouth itself has a population of well over 250,000 and has a full range of shopping, educational and sporting facilities. There is a mainline train service to London Paddington and to Penzance in Cornwall. Brittany Ferries operates seasonal services from Plymouth to France and northern Spain.
