Occupying the top two floors and boasting over 1000 square feet of living space, this delightful property enjoys wonderful ceiling height and plenty of natural light throughout. It is a credit to its current owners, with its timber framed double glazed sash windows and stripped floorboards.
The kitchen area would suit any budding chef and has ample space to dine in, while both bedrooms comfortably house double beds. Further benefits include an additional WC, ample storage throughout and a lovely garden, with plenty of space to relax or entertain in.
Campbell Road is fantastically located, offering easy access to a range of transport links, including Bow Church and Bow Road Stations, whilst Mile End Station is also within easy reach. The many green spaces of E3, such as Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, Mile End Park and Bow Common are also all easily accessible.
Extensive local shops can be found on Bow Road, including several convenience stores and local gems such as The Greedy Cow, The Morgan Arms. Tredegar Arms and The Rusty Bike are just a short walk away.
The Vendor's View
The second I stepped inside, it felt like a house, rather than a flat, and a place that would be home for me. It's enormous high ceilings and light flooding in the big windows first attracted me and still make me smile. The transport links meant I could be at the Southbank Centre in twenty minutes but often I'd enjoy just stepping out five minutes to the local pub Bow Bells or fantastic coffee at the Carmelite Café. Weekends would take me to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for a swim at the Aquatics Centre then groceries from Roman Road market and lunch at Victoria Park's fab Pavilion Café, all without stepping on a bus or train.
It's an easy cycle out into Essex countryside, which was great when I was on a fitness kick! The garden is beautiful and easy to maintain, attracting nesting birds and we also grow lots of vegetables. We've had many a happy barbeque with friends and neighbours. We started our family in this flat so it works well for singles, couples or those anywhere in between. It's only with the arrival of our third child that we are moving on with a fond farewell to this brilliant flat.
