They changed its name to ''Rum Doodle'' after a much loved book - an iconic mountaineering spoof inspired by the author's holidays to the Lake District in the 1950s. Using the name as a very different USP to attract guests, they created an exceptional website & undertook an extensive refurbishment and re-styling of the rooms to complement its new name & vintage feel and create this unique B&B. They have been readily able to achieve superb occupancy on a Bed & Breakfast basis, allowing the business to achieve an excellent level of turnover and profitability.
