As for the lighthouse, Its actually a church topped with a lantern instead of bells. If you ever get chance to climb up the tower, do it. You have to navigate ancient, rickety wooden ladders, but the view from top is fantastic.
Its A Walthamstow Thing... - The Markhouse area has so much open space sometimes its hard to believe you are living in London. It has great spaces, excellent schools, good transport links (you can walk to St James Street Station in 5 minutes) and plentiful cafes, shops and pubs.
