"We will miss this wonderful safe, private and happy home with space for family study, TV viewing, gaming and quiet reflection all at the same time in different rooms.

We have enjoyed many outdoor activities including treasure hunting down the private country lane and many family garden parties, without the concern of through traffic or being overlooked, or overheard by neighbours.

We have the most amazing panoramic views from 20 house windows as far as the Dales, Pen y Ghent and Ilkely Moor to the South, of planes landing at Yeadon airport and Baildon Moor to the West and are protected from any inclement 'Queensbury' weather by the hills and woodland surrounding the East of the property.

The house is also situated at the Queensbury end of the Sustrans Route 69 Cycle Route, the Great Northern Trail and the Bronte Way. 'Thorntree House' is a wonderful home in a rural countryside environment and a joy for cloud, bird, wild life watchers, astronomers and walkers.

DIRECTIONS:
From the Halifax Town Centre join the inner ring road system following directions towards Leeds and Bradford and via the central roundabout leave along the dual carriageway flyover at Burdock Way before taking the first exit slip road towards Queensbury.
