The city of Exeter is about 9 miles away and the town of Crediton 5 miles with its shopping centre and schooling facilities.

DIRECTIONS From Crediton take the A3072 towards Tiverton for about 4 miles.  Turn left at Coffin Tree Cross (as signposted Cheriton Fitzpaine) and follow this country lane for about a mile and a half, until arriving in the village.  At the T junction turn left, passing the Post Office on your right. Turn right into Wells Terrace and take the next left (in between two properties, not marked with a road name).   Cary Cottage will be in front of you.
