Why you’ll like it:

This apartment stands in exquisite grounds which are maintained daily by two full time gardeners who tend to the flowering beds, the mature trees and the ornamental pond which is lit up at night. The private roads sweep in from Varndean Drive, where this block is second on the right, and is approached up some wide steps, and through two secure glazed doors to the communal lobby; very much akin to a hotel with well lit, well presented corridors, and a tall steel lift to take you to the first floor. Signs clearly direct you to the apartment, and once inside you are welcomed in to an entrance hall where there are deep cupboards for your coats, bags and shoes to keep the space clutter free.

The double bedrooms are first on the left, peacefully tucked away from the main living areas. Both have lovely green outlooks through their large picture windows, and each has a built in wardrobe and an en suite bathroom. These are freshly decorated in white, with showers over the bath and large tiles on the wall with brushed metal and mosaic detailing. Much like the rest of the flat, the bedrooms have cosy fawn carpets and creamy walls, and each has space for a large double bed as well as other pieces of freestanding furniture.

The hall forms an L shape with two more sets of double cupboards for storage, and just around the corner, the kitchen is ahead. This is a contemporary room with units in white gloss, topped with a dark granite effect top for contrast. There is space for a tall fridge freezer, but the washing machine, dishwasher, oven and gas hob are all integrated, just waiting to be used.

The generous living room is next door and this is double aspect with lots of room for comfortable sofas as well as a dining table and chairs. The right hand wall is entirely glazed with sliding doors leading out to the spacious, covered balcony which can be used all year round and is the perfect place to sit both morning and evening - maybe after a long sunny day by the pool! This is located right outside the block, so is easily accessible, and it is heated from spring to autumn, and also has heated showers and changing rooms. Many of the residents swim there daily, and it doesn’t get crowded as you need a key to access it, so the public are not permitted use.

This is a tranquil and well designed flat in a very desireable area, so it is sure to be snapped up.

Bear in mind:

Although you feel as though you’re in your own private haven here, you are also well connected with several regular busses into the city, Preston Park Station over the road, and several shops and amenities in walking distance.
