The original Manor House, owned by the Duke of Manchester was burnt down and rebuilt on the current site using stone and brick which now forms part of the Manor. It is believed that the Manor was renovated and altered in 1916 in Queen Anne revival style. The current owners have recently completed extensive remodelling and modernisation of the property which has been sympathetically done.
