AREA DESCRIPTION Hemerdon is a popular village on the outskirts of Plympton, it is a small community that centres around the Miners Arms Pub and Restaurant. Plympton (the nearest town) offers easy access to the A38 with its links to Bristol and London beyond. The town centre of Plympton has some large high street chains such as Boots and Peacocks as well as smaller independent boutiques offering all the day to day amenities you would expect with Tesco and Sainsbury just a short drive away.

There are two well known comprehensive schools as well as eight primary and junior schools, local swimming pool, fitness centre along with tennis, cricket and crown green bowling clubs, all within walking distance of the town centre.  

DIRECTIONS From the St Marys office turn right onto Plymouth Road, go straight over the next two roundabouts onto Glen Road. Go straight across at the roundabout near the fire station, take the first exit off the next roundabout, continue past Chaplins, at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit and continue up the road towards Newnham Downs estate, as the road bends round to the left, turn right here. Follow the road until you see the sign for the Miners Arms and turn left here. Follow the road past the pub and continue until the road turns to the right. The bungalow is the last property on the left.
