The property has been a family home for the current owners for the last 20 years, where the children have now grown up and flown the nest, now there are looking for something a little smaller for themselves. The property is located off Tremont Road in Llandrindod and enjoys far reaching views from the rear, especially from the top floor bedroom! The current owners have within the last few years undertaken considerable expenditure updating the property, so now not only do you have a spacious family home but it is in very good order throughout!

The Property - On entering the entrance hall you are immediately met with the stair to the first floor, the hall gives access to the lounge and dining room and provides some useful under-stair storage space. The lounge is a large room that is well decorated, with a former chimney which now incorporates the electric wood burning effect stove acting as a feature in the room. The property is double glazed throughout and the large window to the front floods the light in, making it a really light room. Off the hallway is the dining room which has been recently re-decorated and has been altered over the years to provide a comfortable seating area, being open plan to the kitchen it works really well for the family. The kitchen as you would expect has ample storage with an electric oven and a gas hob. The two rooms have both south facing windows so again there is plenty of light in the rooms. All good family homes need a utility room and a separate W.C and Wilmslow Villa certainly has these. Accessed off the kitchen via some steps the utility provides additional storage and space for the freezer. It in turn leads to the separate W.C and also gives access to the rear garden.

The first floor accommodation continues to impress, with the main bedroom being a large double with fitted storage and a recess for a free standing wardrobes. The bedroom to the rear is a decent sized singe and this rooms has a really good view towards the hills. The shower room is a great size, the family found they were not using the bath so when the property was updated in 2009 the bath was removed and a new suite were installed with a large shower cubicle replacing the bath. The suite is a modern, white suite and is well presented.

The property used to have to have a small 'box' room over the entrance hall, which was a small bedroom. The owners back in 2009 gained planning permission to convert the loft space and this now provides a really great sized double bedroom. The room has great views towards the hills and benefits from under eaves storage. The conversion has made a massive difference to the property and made it much more suited to family life, all the works were signed off by building control and the approval is in place. Not only has the loft room been converted, the owners have done so much more to the property over the years to include and upgraded boiler, replacement double-glazing, new carpets and decoration throughout! So although an older property you enjoy the modern comforts of a new house!

Outside - To the front of the property is a small fore garden with a graveled area and a timber fence and pedestrian gate opening onto Tremont Road. The rear garden is something to be admired! The long garden backs onto the Railway line and over the years it has been landscaped to provide a number of levels and some lovely seating and lawned areas. Immediately off the utility you have paved seating area, large enough for a dining table and chairs, this overlooks the lawn and with the flowering beds and borders gives such a lovely aspect! A paved path leads through to lawned gardens which have been all landscaped and leads to the rear of the garden where a decent sized detached garden shed can be found. You'll certainly need it to keep the garden looking as good as it does now!
