The Property
An opportunity to own a unique Victorian detached three bedroom home in Hill Head, it really is essential to view to really appreciate what this home has to offer and with the potential to extend.

The home itself has a striking frontage and regularly receives compliments from passers by, the sweeping gravel drive could park many cars or vehicles and still have room for more.

With three double bedrooms and a family bathroom the upper level feels spacious, when looking into the loft I could see greater potential for any home owner to consider, it really is a good space to consider maybe two more bedrooms and probably at least one other bathroom, do not be shy ask if you can have a look. Obviously this would be subject to planning.

The lounge has triple aspect and French doors out to the garden with a feature fire place making a central focal point for the room. The dining room over looks the rear garden and also has a feature fire place.

If home is where the heart is then the heart of this home is the recently extended kitchen/diner, perfect for family meals or getting together with friends, the kitchen/diner leads directly out to the sunny aspect rear garden so you can enjoy use of the garden to also entertain.

When extending the home the owners decided to also add the study perfect if you work from home or a quiet place for homework or studies.

The home sits quite central to the plot

General Information
Seafield Lodge has been somewhat of a talking point in passing for any local or visitor to the area with its decorative fascia boards showing the distinctive initials S F within them. As far as we are aware Seafield Lodge was built as part of the Seafield Manor estate and grandly presided over the entrance to the grounds.
The original manor house building was constructed circa 1872 and used as a boys preparatory boarding school for many years until it was requisitioned by the Admiralty at the start of WWII as a Signal Training School and subsequently destroyed by fire in 1946.
Seafield Park later became the Royal Naval Survival Equipment School but in 1991 this school relocated to HMS Daedalus, although the grounds and sports fields were still in active use and owned by the Ministry of Defence. The site of the old Manor House of Seafield Park came into Fareham Borough Council ownership around a decade ago when the Council began preparing and improving the ground to provide the facilities available today, and designated the park as a public open space.

Location
Hill Head is a sought after area on the coast of the Solent. It is located south of Stubbington, west of Lee-on-the-Solent and in the borough of Fareham. Hill Head has a shingle beach which is popular for fishing, sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing, the homeowners tell me they can walk it in ten minutes . Also there is a small harbour located where the River Meon enters the Solent and Titchfield Haven National Nature Reserve is a short distance along the shoreline with its abundance of birds and wildlife.
