Our family has enjoyed tremendously the land and space here. Over the years we’ve kept pet goats, chickens, two turkeys, geese, a border collie, two labradors and even a pet squirrel! Our woodland is home to badgers, foxes and rabbits, we are often visited by ducks, moorhens, owls and a family of woodpeckers. I commuted to London by train daily, returning to relax and enjoy evenings, weekends and holidays in peace and quiet, surrounded by our own stunning views. In our more energetic moments, we staged the most incredible children’s parties: a teddy bears’ picnic in the woods, Harry Potter and Dr. Who fun days and summer weekend camp-outs - even hosting a fabulous wedding reception for 200 guests, with a live band, in a huge marquee.
