Superb two bedroom second floor flat situated in the iconic Granary on Elie Harbour

The Granary is situated in a commanding position on the harbour of the seaside village of Elie, which is arguably Scotland's most popular seaside village, with many families enjoying holiday homes there. The harbour serves as a centre for a sailing club and various water sport activities. Another attraction of the town is Elie Golf Course with its highly acclaimed 18 hole course along with a short course, driving range and tennis courts. Sangster's restaurant in Elie has a Michelin star, The Ship Inn overlooking the harbour is a well known pub and the nearby Peat Inn is one of Scotland's best restaurants.

Elie is on the East Neuk of Fife which boasts fishing villages built around picturesque harbours and sandy unspoilt beaches. St Andrews, 'the home of golf', is only 14 miles away and has a university which is one of the oldest in Britain. Elie has a primary school while secondary education is available at Waid Academy in Anstruther. There is good private and state schooling in St Andrews, and Dundee and Kirkcaldy are both within easy reach. There are numerous golf courses in the area including new courses at Kingsbarns and St Andrews Bay and traditional links courses at Crail, Leven and Lundin Links.

4 The Granary is a charming flat in the iconic 18th century Granary which is located by the pier at the harbour of Elie. From here there are exceptional views over the famous Elie beach and the Firth of Forth. The Granary was converted to residential use between 1999 and 2001.

The sitting room is a fantastic space and has windows which look north over the harbour and east out to the Firth of Forth. There is a glass wall and door into the hallway which allows plenty of light to spill out into the hall. There is a further glass screen between the en suite bedroom and sitting room giving the room a real sense of space and allowing even more light to flood in. The room has plenty of space for a comfortable seating area and a dining table.

The kitchen is tucked around the corner from the sitting room and is fitted with a range of base and wall units with brushed chrome handles and marble effect work top. Integrated appliances include an electric oven, gas hob with five burners, extractor fan with lighting, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. There is a stainless steel sink with mixer tap in front of the east facing window.

4 The Granary has two good sized bedrooms which have views down the Elie pier. The master bedroom has an en suite shower room which is partially tiled with travertine and has a wash hand basin with storage unit below, WC and a walk in shower with glass screens and 10" rain shower. The second bedroom has integrated wardrobes and plenty of space for a double bed.

The central hallway has a large storage cupboard which is useful for keeping golf clubs and beach gear hidden away. Also off the hallway is the family shower room, fitted with a corner shower, wash hand basin (with storage below) and WC. There are port hole style windows which let some natural light into the room.

4 The Granary has its own private parking space.
