Full description

Tenure: Leasehold

For anybody looking to secure retirement accommodation in a well maintained development close to all amenities then look no further! It is extremely rare for a property such as this good sized 2 bedroom ground floor warden controlled retirement apartment to come onto the market so close to the High Street.

With doors opening out from the bright and airy lounge onto a patio overlooking the well kept communal gardens, it is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of tea and with a south easterly orientation it's a sunny position and being at the back of the block the patio offers peace and privacy.

Unusually for a retirement apartment there is both a dining area and a lounge area giving the feeling of space.

Albion Court is located at the top end of Billericay High Street and as such is within just yards of a well stocked library, a Waitrose supermarket as well as an array of specialist shops, coffee houses, wine bars and restaurants, making it a great place in which to meet and socialise with friends and family.

There is a recreation room for gatherings and social events with kitchen facilities and a guest room for overflow visitors/family or those travelling a long way.

There are local bus services providing access to the towns of Basildon, Chelmsford and Lakeside.

Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.

What the Owner says:

We were lucky and delighted to find this apartment for our mother as it was superior in size to others we had looked at and has the perfect location at the top of Billericay High Street with it's many amenities.

Finding a warden controlled flat gave us peace of mind that mum was comfortable, safe and emergency help, via the Careline system, was at hand 24 hours a day should it be needed.

Mum loved living at Albion Court as it is a great community with lots going on. She could have her privacy or if she didn't feel like being on her own, then there was always someone to talk to.
