Swallow is a lovely two bedroom semi-detached holiday use only cottage in a small collection of just 8 holiday homes that sit in lovely level grounds in the tiny hamlet of Weston which is by the popular seaside resort of Sidmouth in East Devon. Traditionally built in 2006 and beautifully maintained it is currently run as a very successful holiday let and sold with the on-going income.
Sunny and south facing Swallow is light and airy and has a large open plan living room with an attractive fully fitted modern kitchen that has plenty of storage. It has a large double bedroom, a twin and one large bathroom with separate shower and bath. Outside there is a private terrace for outside dining and a small grassy area to the rear. Private parking is to the side of the cottage.
All the cottages benefit from a resident on-site manager, the use of a reception area which also houses a communal laundry room. In addition there is a half-acre (approx) of field which serves as a perfect spot for that BBQ and outside activities.
Amongst some of the most glorious countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty lie these 8 fabulous holiday cottages on the south coast of East Devon. The small hamlet of Weston is only a short drive from the popular Regency seaside town of Sidmouth and within walking distance of the beautiful Jurassic Coast and South West coastal path. Next door is the famous Donkey Sanctuary. On a clear day, there are panoramic views from Weston Cliff eastwards to Chesil Beach and Portland Bill and westwards to Teignmouth and Brixham.
Leigh Cottages are situated just 2 to 3 miles from the pretty villages of Branscombe and Beer; Seaton and Lyme Regis are both within a short drive away. Inland, the interesting old towns of Honiton and Ottery St Mary are easily accessible by car. This un-spoilt part of East Devon is ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird-watchers, star-gazers, children and all those who just enjoy exploring the lovely Devon countryside, its villages, and its scenic coast line.
Private drainage, mains electricity and water.
