Full description

Tenure: Freehold

Within walking distance of the town centre and the mainline train station is an end terraced home with character and modern touches in perfect balance. Two separate reception areas are still in existence. The front room is used as the lounge area and whilst the fire place is currently a feature, it could easily roar or the addition of a wood burner would be great to return to on colder days. The layout of the other room allows for perfect harmony with the kitchen area. A table large enough to seat more than four can easily fit in here and a large window allows plenty of light to flood through illuminating the space. Open plan to the kitchen area this is great should you be playing host. It allows guests to sit around as drinks flow and snacks are enjoyed, but without you feeling left out stuck in the kitchen. The space is large enough for plenty of units and galley kitchen this is not! On the first floor is both the guest or second bedroom which is easily a double bedroom and the main bathroom which is in a good condition. As this would have been a bedroom at one point this is a good space. The top floor is easily the master bedroom. Plenty of space up here for a Queen Size bed and wardrobes. Others in the road have added an en-suite up here too and with the relevant approvals you could do if you would so wish. A courtyard garden with rear access completes the billing. The town centre is merely a few hundred yards away, as is a very well known high end supermarket.

What the Owner says:

We bought this house as we wanted our own home and not just a property and after viewing it just once we fell in love with it. The house offers fantastic space, in a great location and is perfectly situated to enjoy Edenbridge with it's village feel, whilst also having a quick commute into London where we both work.
Since moving in we have modernised the house in a number of ways including redecorating almost every room and renovating the top bedroom in to the unbelievable space it is today.
On top of all that we know it still has bags of potential for the next owners to make it their home and enjoy it as much as we have.
