Full description

This is a lovingly cared for generously sized two bedroom family home, which is brilliantly located for local amenities and schools. This extended end of terrace house is situated at the end of a quiet road and offers expansive and impressively appointed accommodation.

The accommodation comprises entrance hall, two reception rooms, breakfast kitchen, two generous double bedrooms and a four piece family bathroom. There is a boarded out loft with potential for a third bedroom (subject to the appropriate planning regulation's) and a rear garden.

The property benefits from an entrance hall which leads into a bright and spacious lounge with feature fireplace set on a stone hearth. Double doors lead into the dining room with exposed wooden flooring and then onto the breakfast/kitchen. The kitchen is fitted with a range of attractive wall, drawer and base units, stainless steel bowl and a half sink, extractor fan and has a space for a cooker and fridge/freezer. An arch divides the room with a breakfast bar and a utility area, which is plumbed for a washing machine, in the other half of the room. There is also an under stairs storage cupboard.

To the first floor is a generous master bedroom with in-built storage cupboard and a cast iron fireplace on a slate hearth. Bedroom two is a tastefully decorated double to the rear aspect. There is a four-piece family bathroom in white comprising bath, basin, wc and shower as well as a built-in vanity unit. A cupboard off the landing provides more storage and houses a ladder up to the bright and spacious loft room with a sky light window. It is worth investigating the potential to convert the loft into another bedroom, however, even in its current layout, it provides a superb storage area or hobby room.

To the rear of the property is a low-maintenance garden area with brick built storage shed and flower borders with a side-gate for putting out your bins.

All in all this is a wonderful home that is ready to move into and provides spacious and comfortable accommodation for years to come. The location will help make life that little bit easier as it is close to local schools, supermarkets, shops, pubs and many other amenities. Travelling around is easy as the property is near to the motorway, railway station and local bus routes. A little further a field there is Lancaster, The Lakes and many other beautiful points of interest including Morecambe Bay.

This home really will surprise you with what it has to offer so it is well worth booking your viewing today.

What The Owner Says
We love this property and if we could pick it up and take it with us, we would. We call it our tardis , as when you come inside it is a lot bigger than you would expect and everyone who's been in says the same. The wooden doors and floors are my favourite, it makes it very homely. It's been a perfect first house for us and our growing family and hopefully someone else will love it as much as us!
