The house is wonderfully quiet, with the roof terrace in summer feeling like a peaceful retreat. We are in easy walking distance of the Overground, Victoria and Piccadilly lines, and can connect to all of London's major airports with ease. This has been an immensely happy home for us - it has had much to offer both before and after starting our family.

Brickworks Loves - Le Peche Mignon: this wonderful, independent cafe and food store is literally at the end of the road. And when the sun shines (fingers crossed), there is a small, outside seating area too. We adore this place.
Trullo: with a commitment to simple, seasonally focused, Italian inspired dishes, this restaurant near Highbury Corner is a joy. No fuss; just expertly cooked food in a relaxed environment.
Provisions: this new, wine, cheese, bread & beer shop is a sign of how the Holloway Road is changing fast and for the better (in our opinion). The selection of artisanal produce is extensive and - even better - if you take in an empty bottle they will fill you up with house wine. What a brilliant idea.
Akari: set in an old public house, it can initially seem like an incongruous mix, but as soon as you set foot inside and then taste the sushi it suddenly makes sense! Fabulously good food, at very reasonable prices (Japanese food can be super-expensive!).
Highbury Fields: this iconic park is the largest in Islington and it is just around the corner. Almost every conceivable activity is catered for during the course of the year, but it is equally great to just relax and enjoy a lazy summer barbecue.
