Our Time Here -

The Vendor's View - The Elms has been our family home for the past 20 years. We initially liked the feel of the house and the fact it offered plenty of space for us as a family with 3 small children. Its a large spacious property with a lovely, big garden, and has always had a real homely feel from the minute you walk in through the door.
As a family we spend the majority of our time at the back of the house in the kitchen and conservatory, along with the second sitting room. Its an ideal house for entertaining and family gatherings thanks to the size of the rooms and house in general. Weve had some very memorable birthday parties and barbecues over the years.
The house is set in a very convenient location in between Deal and Sandwich and its really easy to get out onto the Thanet Way for Dover or up into London. The seafront is probably only 2 miles from the house, and there are plenty of local amenities.
The schools in this area have a very good reputation and The Elms is within reach of several local primary schools in Northbourne, Ash Sandwich and Deal, along with two private primary schools at Northbourne and Ash. Our children attended the private schools in Ash and the state school in Northbourne, both of which they were very happy at. There is also a grammar school and a secondary school nearby in Sandwich.
We will really miss the space that we have had to spread out in at this property. Our children have grown up here and theyve now left home so we dont really need a house of this size anymore, as sad as we will be to leave. We are looking to stay in the area and thinking of moving just down the road to Sandwich.
