Our Time Here -

The Vendor's View - The fabulous elevated position first attracted us to the property, offering the most stunning views out over the sea. Visitors have often commented that they are blown away by the breath-taking view, which has always been our absolute favourite feature of the house. The main bedroom has a balcony, which offers one of the best outlooks, you can even see France on a clear day. At night time it looks as though the house it situated on a lake, with all the lights twinkling. The beautiful south-facing rear garden is another favourite feature of the house, where we have enjoyed many barbecues and family gatherings on the decking in the summer.
The house is situated in a very convenient location. The road is private and unmade so there is no through traffic, but the house is easily accessible to Hythe and the main travel routes. There is a little corner shop down the bottom of the road along with a garage, while the main shops in the town are a 15 minute walk away (just a couple of minutes in the car).
The canal is about a 5 minute walk from the house. From there you can walk over the bridge and youre at the seafront, or walk along the waterside for a fabulous country walk amongst the birds and wildlife. The Sene Valley golf course is on the hill behind the house, and the many walks in this area are just amazing.
Seabrook Junior school is about a 10 minute walk away, but we are more familiar with our grandchildren's primary school in Saltwood, which has just received an outstanding OFSTED report. The house is also about 15 minutes away from several very good secondary schools, including the Harvey Grammar schools and Folkestone Academy.
We will miss everything about living in this house! We are only moving due to ill-health and will be staying in the area as we love living here. Our time here has been out of this world and we have loved every minute.
