Tenure: Freehold

The stunning this property offers everything you could wish for in the ultimate rural and yet accessible family home. It has been totally refurbished and extended by the owner using the highest quality fittings and materials and the most up-to-date and sophisticated equipment. Surrounded by 5.86 acres of gardens, 3 paddocks, a new stable block and woodland, this impressive property will excite you from the moment the electronic gates open and you see the house at the end of a sweeping drive. Once through the attractive front door into the spacious entrance hall with its solid oak doors and floorboards, you will be equally delighted. The heart of this amazing house is the bespoke 40ft kitchen/dining room where you are likely to spend much of your time. With its numerous and almost floor to ceiling triple-glazed aluminium covered windows, large patio doors to one of the terraces and huge skylight it provides a wonderfully light and airy ambience.

It is perfect for anyone who enjoys cooking – not only is there is a beautiful range cooker but also a built-in oven and hot tray as well as two fridges, a freezer, dishwasher, three sinks and a wine cooler but also a vast central island providing plenty of additional storage space.

Adjacent is a large utility room with another fridge, freezer and laundry appliances as well as a cloakroom with a specially designed dog shower – ideal when you come back from a muddy walk in the woods.

There is also an adjacent playroom where you can keep an eye on the children, although this could also be used as snug or a gym.

There is an option to work from home in the well-fitted study and you can relax in the colourful lounge with its modern wood-burning stove and handcrafted shelving. Upstairs, there are four double bedrooms including the master with its stylish and contemporary bathroom that includes both a modern bath and a ‘walk through’ wet room style shower. There is a guest room with an en suite shower while the other two bedrooms share the family bathroom.

The various terraces and patios around the house have been designed with outdoor entertaining in mind. You can move around the differing areas at various times of the day depending on where the sun is. There is a quality new stable block that includes three large stables, hay store, feed room and a tack room as well as an archway through to hardstanding where you can keep a horsebox. In addition there is a tractor shed, a car port and a well designed gym.

What the Owner says:

I thought this was going to be my long-term home so, with that in mind, I have renovated and refurbished it to the highest standard. Unfortunately, due to family circumstances I need to move; however, I hope whoever lives here in the future will feel they will be buying the ultimate home with nothing to do except enjoy everything about it. There is ample room for entertaining a number of guests / family at the dining table and during the summer I have plenty of visitors who enjoy barbecues and al fresco meals outside. We even have a terrace area where we play outdoor games. For anyone interested in equestrian activities there is a short cross country course in one of the paddocks and planning permission exists to build a manage.
It is a very quiet and peaceful area with wonderful country walks, yet we are close to access roads to Folkestone and the A2 for Dover, Canterbury and London. There is an excellent pub in Denton and the nearby village of Barham also has a village store and a post office as well as plenty of activities in the village hall while, for golfing enthusiasts, Broome Park Golf Club offers great facilities.
