I remember 48 years ago looking round and never finding the right house. When I discovered this one I quite casually said to my husband “this one looks all right” and 48 years later I am still here.

As our child was young then, good schools were important and the schools nearby are still highly rated and there has always been a good bus service into town and beyond. We slowly made the house our own by extending the kitchen which made a huge difference and being end of terrace we had a larger garden than most.
