Our Time Here -

The Vendor's View - Id always loved the house, I coveted it actually! When I drove past it I thought it was a handsome Victorian house and I wanted it. My husband had done some work on this house and said he remembered there was a building in the garden, which had the potential for my widowed mother to be able to live with us. By combining the money from the sale of our house and my mothers, we were able to afford to buy the house and it was exactly what we were looking for.
The house is large with a good atmosphere and many lovely original features. I particularly love the breakfast room, which is a real cosy, family space and the one place we all tend to gather in. We converted the old coach house and stables in the garden into a lovely bungalow for my mother. It has its own front door and she accessed it via the side gate, making it completely self-contained. It's perfect for multi-generational families or those with older children who need a bit of independence. The garden is very large and beautiful with lots of interesting nooks and crannies, as well as many fruit trees.
One of the best things about this house is its convenient location, just a 5 minute walk from the station. We had lived in Faversham a number of years before we moved to this property, and we like the fact that everywhere is within walking distance. Faversham is a lovely, historic town and the beautiful town centre is just a 10 minute walk away. It's also within easy access of the M2 and A2. It is important to me that I live somewhere that I dont have to drive or rely on a car or a bus, so the position of this house has been perfect.
Now that my mother has sadly passed away we are moving to a smaller property, literally down the road. We had bought the other house with the view to renovate it and rent it out until we were ready to move there, but it feels like now is the right time.
