Our Time Here - We have lived here for 30 years. It was the houses outward appearance that first attracted us and the location suited our needs. It is very close to the sea, within easy walking distance of the shops and GP surgery and just a five minute drive to the station; so for convenience its great.
Despite being so close to all the amenities the house feels very private and secluded thanks to its position within the garden which wraps around the house on three sides. We added the garden room as an extension to the existing property and this is possibly our favourite room in the house. Its a lovely, light and airy space and has the added benefit of a multi-fuel stove, which makes it very cosy in the winter.
We love having the beaches close by and enjoy the cliff-top walks, as well as being within easy reach of The Turner Centre and the old town area close to the harbour. There is a reasonable range of local shops.
The size of the garden and the house has enabled us to hold many family celebrations and reunions over the years which will be some of our happiest memories of the house.
Our daughters both live in the West Country and we plan to move closer to them and our grandchildren. All in all, its been a very happy family home and we will remember it with great affection.
