The Vendor's View - When I first looked at this house, I just knew I wanted it. I couldn't specifically put my finger on what made me feel this way but it had really nice vibes about it and I knew this was a house I wanted to live in. It's a lovely property and I have lived here for 29 years.
My favourite room is probably the enormous living room, it has a lovely sense of space and large windows look out over the front garden. It has been a great place for entertaining with family and friends.
The house is in a lovely position, and I love being able to see the sea from the balcony. Being able to wander across the road and down the cliff to the seafront is just great. Compared to London, it's practically silent and I really appreciate the quieter roads and the lack of stress, it's a different pace of life here and I love it.
The situation is relatively private, but people here are very pleasant and the local community is there if you choose to go out and find it. The location is very accessible, just a 10 minute walk to the local shops at Westbrook and a short drive to Margate High Street. Westwood Cross is a popular shopping and leisure complex including a cinema along with a couple of large supermarkets, and this is only 3 miles from the house.
This has been a wonderful home and I really love the house, but sadly it is just too big for me. I have continued to live here because I love it so much, but I have decided that now is the time for me to find a smaller property. I have many happy memories of my time at the property, but one that really sticks out is a water pistol fight with my son and two grandsons all the way round the large garden!
