Full description

Tenure: Freehold

This cosy three bedroom detached bungalow has been extensively refurbished by the current owner and is now ready for someone else to move straight in and enjoy all of their hard work.

If you love cooking then you are going to be spending lots of time in the kitchen. Cooking dinner in here will be a breeze as you have plenty of work surface for today’s modern kitchen gadgets and an abundance of cupboards for storage.

The stunning L shaped glass conservatory is definitely the best room in this home. Located at the back of the house it looks out over the secluded gardens, making this a great space to sit and have dinner. After dinner you can just relax and chill out, as there is also room for a sofa and an armchair.

The lounge still has its original fireplace, which is calling out to have a fire grate installed or even a log burner. You can just picture coming back from a long walk along the seafront and then putting a few logs on the fire and relaxing for a cosy evening in.

The gardens are going to be a joy for any keen gardener as there is a large selection of pretty flower beds for you to tend and lush green grass for you to mow. In the back garden there is also a greenhouse, giving you somewhere to start off your seedlings in the autumn months and as this garden has a sunny aspect it is going to be a fantastic place for friends and family to congregate.

What the Owner says:

When we viewed this bungalow we fell in love with the fantastic location. We have enjoyed many bike rides across Romney Marsh and have quite often travelled back to London, so the high speed rail link has been very handy.

Our bungalow looks nothing like it did when we bought it. In the time that we have been here we have had a gas main installed and new central heating, we have moved the kitchen from the front of the house to the back and had a new conservatory built. My brother, who has been a glazier for 40 years, replaced the windows for us. We have also laid the driveway and decking, and added a greenhouse.
