The Vendor's View - We came into this quiet close many years ago, and when I saw Willow Cottage I said to my husband What a chocolate box, I'd like to own it. Years later it came up for auction and we were lucky enough to buy it.
Our friends and family thought we were absolutely mad when they saw the inside, but we had bought it with our hearts. The house had stood empty for quite a while, and required considerable work. We gutted it out, and with sweat, blood and tears, it's now a brand-new property in an old skin.
My husband likes to sit in our conservatory in the early morning watching the wildlife. Should you play golf, expect spare balls in the garden courtesy of the sea gales as the golf course is at the bottom of the garden! They do good meals and drinks there. There is a shop within walking distance for your paper etc. and a bus stop. Reading Street is a little further with a post office and store, church and the local pub The Swan. If you want to go to the beach you can easily walk or pop in the car.
We have loved living here and are only moving due to ill health.
