We have loved living in Carr Road for the last eight years. The local area has a real community feel and it's great to be so close to Lloyd Park, William Morris House & Caf and The Bell pub. The local area has a distinct character and offers peaceful surroundings but is also only a short walk away from Walthamstow Central at the end of the Victoria line. Being at the end of the line means you'll always get a seat but with the Victoria line not having many stops it takes no time to get into the centre of town. Walthamstow Central also has many new restaurants, bars and a multi-screen cinema.
We love our Warner flat for its distinct character and original features. The flat has high ceilings and is very light and airy. Having an upstairs flat means we benefit from having a large loft space, which is incredibly handy for storage but could also be converted with space for a couple of rooms if required.
If you drive, you can apply for a parking permit for around £30 a year, which is fantastic and means you can park right outside the house (not like in the bad old days before the controlled parking was introduced!), you are also just a short journey away from the North Circular which proves very handy.
We love the area so much were only looking to move to just around the corner!
