Full description

A classic one bedroom first floor apartment with private garden, a huge lounge and vintage design touches evident throughout. It's all located in one of Walthamstow's most enviable streets, right on the borders of Lloyd Park and its green space and landscaped gardens.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

You'll be in one of Walthamstow's most sought after neighbourhoods - Lloyd Park is, justly, one of the borough's favourite landmarks, with open spaces, cafes and courts. It also hosts the famous William Morris gallery, and it's all on your doorstep.

Inside, the first thing that strikes you is the huge lounge - over 200 square feet and flooded with light thanks to a huge bay window and a second off to the side. It also features a period mantelpiece.

The kitchen/diner has plenty of space to eat-in and leads out, via a rear staircase, into the garden. Currently a lush riot of shrubbery, this is the perfect canvas for a keen gardener to put their mark on.

Beyond Lloyd Park itself you've got Bell Corner, with plenty of shops and amenities and one of Walthamstow's best gastropubs - The Bell. Further on but still within walking distance is Walthamstow Central station, with its 20 minute straight run into Oxford Circus or Liverpool Street.

WHAT ELSE?

- The lease is an impressive 143 years. So no worries there.
- Lloyd Park regularly hosts events such as Grillstock and the Walthamstow Garden Party.
- The bathroom is particularly stylish, with black and white metro tiling.

A WORD FROM THE OWNER......
We have loved living in Carr Road for the last eight years. The local area has a real community feel and it's great to be so close to Lloyd Park, William Morris House & Caf and The Bell pub. The local area has a distinct character and offers peaceful surroundings but is also only a short walk away from Walthamstow Central at the end of the Victoria line. Being at the end of the line means you'll always get a seat but with the Victoria line not having many stops it takes no time to get into the centre of town. Walthamstow Central also has many new restaurants, bars and a multi-screen cinema.
We love our Warner flat for its distinct character and original features. The flat has high ceilings and is very light and airy. Having an upstairs flat means we benefit from having a large loft space, which is incredibly handy for storage but could also be converted with space for a couple of rooms if required.
If you drive, you can apply for a parking permit for around £30 a year, which is fantastic and means you can park right outside the house (not like in the bad old days before the controlled parking was introduced!), you are also just a short journey away from the North Circular which proves very handy.
We love the area so much were only looking to move to just around the corner!
