The land lies to the south side of the village of South Anston with access taken directly off Dog Kennel Lane (B6059) and First Lane. South Anston is a village in South Yorkshire in an area controlled by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, the county border with Nottinghamshire is only a few miles to the East.
The M1 runs North to South about 3 miles to the West, the A1 runs North to South about 12 miles to the East.


The land lies in a ring fenced block and extends to about 185.93 acres (75.253 hectares) acres with about 141.6 acres (57.3 hectares) being arable.
The land is classified as Grade 2 and 3 as recorded in the Soil Survey of England and Wales and the soils are described as being of the Aberford association. The Aberford soils are described as shallow, locally brashy, well drained calcareous fine loamy soil over limestone; suitable for the growing of cereals with some sugar beet and potatoes.

Wayleaves, Easements and Rights of Way
