Our Time Here - We really liked the location and the style of the house, a large 4 storey Victorian property. We were looking for a property to renovate and this fitted the bill! The house was in a pretty bad state when we bought it 25 years ago, and in fact we didnt live in it for the first year! There were some original features still in place and we sourced more to add back into the house, it was a labour of love!
We love all of the rooms, but I particularly enjoy sitting in the back room looking over the garden, while the front room provides a great place to enjoy some stunning sunsets. You can see the sea from the front attic room, and its great to be able to watch the fireworks from the house!
We love living in this area, its both convenient and yet also quiet. The location is so handy for the High Street and Harbour Street, and its brilliant to be able to walk to the end of our road, across the golf course and onto the beach. Its also not far from the station and you can reach the motorway quickly, so its a very accessible place to live. I used to work in London and I always loved the commute back along the sea front and coastline.
This house would be ideal for a family, not only due to the size of the living accommodation over 4 floors, but also the close proximity to many excellent schools.
Were looking for a smaller property now that I have retired. We will miss living here greatly, especially the garden, which we completely transformed and sitting watching spectacular sunsets.
