A former farmhouse thought to have been rebuilt around 1890 in
a mock Regency design. Once owned by the Bishop of Lincoln,
there is an apocryphal story of alms being given to the poor by the Bishop through an aperture at the back of the kitchen on Woodlane. During World War II it was used as a hospital.
