This has been a great flat for us. It’s super convenient, a short walk to the high street shops and pubs, and of course we’re lucky enough in Billingshurst to have mainline rail for an easy commute.
I think as a starter apartment it’s a great choice. We are selling our 50% stake in the property, the rest is owned by Saxon Weald, however you can still qualify for Help to Buy. It makes actually having your own home possible even for those of us who thought maybe it wasn’t right now! The shared ownership aspect is what enabled us to get on the property ladder now we've decided to relocate for the next dream.
We’ve been very comfortable here - the garden, hallways and parking areas are always kept incredibly tidy and it’s quiet. Once behind our own front door we’ve used the second bedroom as a bedroom as a guest bedroom, study and home office space which has really suited us. We hope someone else can benefit from the same good life and good start (or start afresh) that we’ve had here!
