My wife and I have spent fifteen happy years here. We came from the mainland and chose this bungalow because of its location and the space it offered for our hobbies and interests. I keep out of mischief in the study with my keyboard and computers, and there’s plenty of room for my three quarter size snooker table in the living room. My wife has pursued her activities, sewing and painting, in the hobby room. We enjoyed gardening together, and then sitting out and relaxing on the patio, or enjoying a walk on the beach. We have both been very keen bowlers, and there are several clubs on the Island to choose from.
When family and friends visit, there’s plenty of room to accommodate them. It’s nice that they can stay with us rather than having to find a B&B or hotel.
You might wonder why we want to leave. Sadly, my wife passed away recently, so it’s time for me to down-size.
