2 Parrock Cottages is one of a pair of attached former farm cottages situated along this quiet country lane being a quiet and tranquil country area roughly midway between the villages of Hartfield and Forest Row.

Over the years each cottage has been modernised and extended. Number 2 offers many character features and also has planning consent to extend further into a Abarn style@ sitting room of about 322 sq ft ideally suitable as a Agranny annexe@.

Hartfield is about 22 miles with local general store, primary school, health centre, ancient church, various sports/social clubs and two character inns.

Forest Row is a larger settlement with an excellent variety of local and specialist shops, inns, eateries, health centre and primary school. Ashdown Forest is about 12 miles with excellent walking and riding (by permit).

A service of buses is available from each end of Parrock Lane providing transport to East Grinstead (about 6 miles) with full shopping facilities and station to London (Victoria/London Bridge). From the Hartfield end of the lane the school bus provides transport to Crowborough Beacon School.

Transport is also available to Tunbridge Wells (about 12 miles) with excellent shopping facilities and main line train service (Charring Cross/Cannon Street).

From Forest Row take Hartfield Road opposite the church and leave the village, pass through the two sharp bends and after about 300 yards turn left into Parrock Lane.

Continue carefully along this meandering lane for just over 1 mile where the property will be found on the right hand side as you rise up the hill.
