Description - Higher Uppacott is an imposing former Threshing Barn and Round-House of stone and rendered elevations under a natural slate roof, and forms part of a farmstead of other properties, none of which are in agricultural use.
Now with the benefit of planning permission , the Vendors have demolished all the modern buildings leaving only a range of traditional barns from which an exclusive, purely residential development of 3 dwelling's (including their own home dating from medieval times) will be created.

Planning Permission - Planning permission was granted on Appeal on 14 April 2015 for the building to be converted to a residential dwelling (Application Ref: 57723). The plans indicate a HALL with OFFICE and CLOAKROOM off, a KITCHEN/BREAKFAST ROOM, DINING ROOM and a large SITTING ROOM on the ground floor with 4 BEDROOMS, BATHROOM and SHOWER ROOM on the first floor. Total floor area: (measured externally) approx 224.50 square metres (over two floors)
It is considered that there is potential (subject to any necessary consents) for the creation of a fifth, master bedroom above the round house.
Copies of the plans are available from the selling agents.

Outside - The barn is approached over a shared driveway. A well established lawned area continues around to the side of the barn and the round house. Further lawned area and a stone and slate STABLE (30' x 13'7"). Large well established vegetable garden.

The Land - Adjoining to the south west is a gently sloping pasture paddock. In total the property amounts to about 1.138 ACRES.
