Tenure: Freehold

Whether you are an investor looking for your next property or a first time buyer trying to get your foot on the first rung of the property ladder and don't mind taking on a little work then this could be the house for you.

Although it does offer gas central heating and double glazed windows and is generally well presented, it does required some updating to enable you to stamp your personality on it. It would be well worth the effort as you will end up with a lovely house of a good size and the rarely found layout of two bedrooms and a separate upstairs bathroom.

It also benefits from two reception rooms and no walking straight into the lounge as it comes with a hallway, unlike so many others in the price range.

All in all a great house with lots of potential and the location is also convenient and is less then a mile from the High Street with a good range of shops complemented by a busy market on a Saturday and Monday. For the sporty types Medway Leisure Centre offers a wide range of facilities and classes and if you commute to London you can take advantage of the main line station, jump on a train and be there within 45 minutes.

What the Owner says:

When we were looking to buy nearly 20 years ago and looked at several houses but knew that this was the one as soon as we saw it, we loved it, it has a real homely feel about it and we really liked the layout compared to others we had seen.
Mum lived down the road so we knew the area and she was happy to recommend it.
Over the years we have done very little other than add double glazed windows and do some decorating. We had intended to reap the full potential of the house but never quite got around to it so it's time for someone else to carry out the rest of the work and make it into a lovely home as we had always intended.
