This was my first time buy approximately 8 years ago when I landed a wonderful job in the town, so I needed to move here from London. I was amazed at just what I could get for my money and having been on holiday here a lot when I was younger as well as having family in the area meant I knew the area well. River was a lovely choice to live in as it has so much to offer. The neighbours here are all fantastic and there is such a good community spirit. I often use my bike to get around and cycling around the area is lovely. I have even used my bike to get to Folkestone before, taking the route pass St.Radigunds Abbey. Having Dover nearby means I can live by the sea but also have an abundance of local history on my doorstep.
