Dee and I decided to move to Hart Close 20 years ago when our children where 7 and 5 years old. We were looking for a larger home and needed somewhere safe and quiet for them with room to expand as our family grew up. We affectionately call this the odd end of Hart Close, because of the house numbers, but it's location means there is no through traffic.
We particularly like the south facing garden and the West Park nature reserve, accessible via a little footpath opposite.
In the summer months we like nothing better then being out on the patio under the sun blinds enjoying a barbecue or sitting in the garden cabin reading books.
We are moving to be closer to family and can thoroughly recommend life in Uckfield and Hart Close in particular.
