Comprehensively renovated and beautifully presented four double bedroom house set in pretty gardens located just a short walk to the harbour of Portloe with a superb oak frame extension, garage and parking. Cleverly designed to take advantage of light and the surroundings with sympathetic use of complimentary materials. The perfect seaside village home.

Location

Portloe is a very picturesque, protected and unspoilt fishing village, nestling between magnificent cliffs on the south eastern coast of the Roseland Peninsula which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With granite cottages surrounding a small traditional harbour, John Betjeman once described the village as "one of the least spoiled and most impressive of Cornish fishing villages", which still rings true today, although the addition of the excellent Lugger Hotel really has put Portloe on the map.

Miles of spectacular cliff top walks stretch out in both directions while Carne Beach, owned by the National Trust, has a wide expanse of clean sand and safe bathing. For the foodie, follow the headland around and find The Hidden Hut located above Porthcurnick Beach and the Nare Hotel at Carne.

Nearby is the pretty village of Veryan, providing a primary school, church, mini-market/Post Office and public house.

The exclusive and ever popular waterside village of St Mawes is one of Cornwall's most famous addresses. Much loved by yachties, it is centred around a small stone harbour and has its own beaches, sailing club, castle and a handful of good restaurants and pubs including Olga Polizzi's Hotel Tresanton.

Ignore the first sign to Portloe by the large barn, then after around one and a half miles follow the next sign for Portloe on the left. Follow this road down towards the harbour for around a mile and Tregian House is located on the left hand side, shortly before the village.
