5 bedroom detached house for saleSouth Milton Of Corsindae Site, Midmar, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire
- Full planning permission
- Attractive rural area
Closing date set for Friday 2nd December 2016.
Planning approval (Ref: APP/2015/1529) was granted on 20th August 2015 for a new detached house on the cleared site of a former farm building. On the basis that the steading has been removed the planning permission has now been activated.
The proposed house is focused around a twin gable appearance but with different height, width and materials to provide a unique perspective. Consequently the angular design of the house hides the size of the building.
The site is close to the former farmhouse and an old mill which was converted to residential in 1989. On the approach to the site one passes some farm buildings, but they are screened from the site and the approach road by trees.
The orientation of the house has been designed to ensure that there is minimal visual interference between the two other houses in the vicinity.
The proposed house is to benefit from a slate roof and traditional wet render finish to the walls. There is extensive use of glass to maximise on solar gain.
Borehole water supply shared by 11 other properties.
Drainage: Septic tank with soakaway to be installed.
Electricity and telephone on site.
The buyer will have to contribute to the maintenance of the borehole and a 10% share will be allocated to South Milton Site.
The buyer will have to contribute to the maintenance of the access driveway and a 25% share will be allocated to the South Milton site.
Full planning permission was granted on 20th August 2015. Reference APP/2015/1529. The developer obligation has been paid. Prospective purchasers are advised that they must make their own enquiries about the planning permission of the local authority.
