Location - Pleasantly situated in the small rural township of Altandhu on the Coignach Peninsula on the west coast of Scotland, which is some 4 miles north of the village of Achilitibuie. Directions - From Inverness take the A9 road north for Ullapool. On entering the town, follow the road round to the right after the petrol station and continue up the hill. Continue along this road for approximately 10 miles and turn off to the left at the signpost for Achiltibuie. Follow this single track road for approximately 11 miles. At the T junction turn right signposted for Altandhu and follow the coast round. Rowan Croft is situated opposite the Port a Bhaigh Campsite and will be clearly sign posted. Alternatively, if you turn towards Achiltibuie at the first T-junction and then follow the signs for Polbain thereafter, Altandhu is approximately a mile or so north of Polbain.
