Our Time Here - Weve had the property for the past 10 years. We liked the style of the house, the size of the rooms and the location.
Its a modern house, but has unusually large rooms. The house matches well with the flint-walled properties in St Peters, with a flint frontage. Our favourite features of the property are the courtyard part of the garden and the double garage where we have table tennis set up. There is also a study at the front with a sunny aspect; and all of the rooms are very spacious.
St Peters is a friendly little village, with a good community feel. The location is really handy for the schools, which are within walking distance, and this was useful when our boys were younger. Viking Bay beach is a brisk 20-minute walk away, and there are plenty more sandy beaches in the area, all boasting a blue flag. Its very central for the surrounding towns of Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate, as well as providing easy access to the shopping and leisure facilities at Westwood Cross. The house is also well placed for transport links, both by road and rail.
Thanks to the courtyard setting, it is quiet here and feels very safe, which was important to us as a family. We will really miss our lovely neighbours. It has been a great family home, but now that our sons are off to university we feel that now is the right time to move.
