From Bovey Tracey head on B3387 to Hay Tor and Widecombe. In 1/3 mile take the left fork, still on the B3387 to Hay Tor. After approx. 4 miles the Ashburton road will come in from the left. Go over the Hemsworthy Gate Cattle Grid. Keep on the main Widecombe road for ½ mile and turn right signed Hound Tor, Manaton, and Chagford. ½ mile turn right into the Holwell Drive.
