This property is offered at a reduced price for people aged over 60 through Homewise’s Home for Life Plan. Through the Home for Life Plan, anyone aged over sixty can purchase a lifetime lease on this property which discounts the price from its full market value. The size of the discount you are entitled to depends on your age, personal circumstances and property criteria and could be anywhere between 8.5% and 59% from the property’s full market value. The above price is for guidance only. It is based on our average discount and would be the estimated price payable by a 69-year-old single male. As such, the price you would pay could be higher or lower than this figure.

For more information or a personalised quote, just give us a call. Alternatively, if you are under 60 or would like to purchase this property without a Home for Life Plan at its full market price of £500,000, please contact Cubitt & West.

Set within a short stroll of both the town centre and mainline train station sits an impressive character detached home, vastly improved by its current owners.

Pull up and take advantage of off road parking. Double gates invite you in to the rear garden. There’s plenty of living space throughout the ground floor for either an established or growing family. A large lounge area is plenty big enough for more than a sofa or two.

The kitchen benefits from a separate utility room allowing white goods to sit snuggly. There is also more space dedicated for units and the like. You’ll want to play host from here.

Formal dining affairs are catered for in the dining area. Light floods in through a large window. An impressively sized dining table would not feel out of place in here.

A snug area or sitting area offers a great further space and the size of this room too makes it versatile. A shower room on the ground floor is great for family living and prevents and early morning bathroom dramas.

The master bedroom has been greatly improved by the current owners and the fitted wardrobes will come in very handy. A re-fitted en-suite shower room has been made in to a ‘Jack & Jill’ affair with a door in to the landing too. What an area this is and you may find a queue at the door with everyone wanting to get in to use the shower!

As you would expect with a house of this age all the bedrooms are well proportioned and even the fourth should not be scoffed at. The bathroom completes the billing.

What the Owner says:

We liked the look of the house as we wanted character and the fact it needed some updating was ideal for us.
Since moving in we have updated the decorating and the carpets. We have also re-fitted the bathroom making an en-suite too.
We'll miss being able to walk out on to the park behind as well as being so close to town. It's great to stroll in for a drink or food.
