We moved here in 1994 as we needed a good size house and it had enough room for a growing family. Over the years we have updated our house and in recent times fitted a new boiler and the ground floor cloakroom & WC. This is a lovely quiet road and as the end is blocked off it is like a cul-de-sac with no passing traffic.
There are good primary schools nearby and Abbey Wood Village where there are lots of local shops and there is a larger variety close by as well. The new Cross Rail is due in the next few years and when in place the whole of the London area will be within touching distance meaning you will never be far from friends and family wherever they live in the London area or beyond, although the current service from Abbey Wood is excellent and offers a quick service to central London.
