When I was looking to buy 10 years ago, I viewed lots of flats, but this one really jumped out from the crowd. I looked at lots of conversions but this one was so much bigger and offered so much more space, and was in a far better location. It was a bit of a wreck, but I knew that I would be able to transform it into a lovely home. I carried out some major work, including re-wiring, re-plumbing, sound proofing, fitted a new kitchen and bathroom, and double glazing. I also converted it from 1 bedroom into a 2 bedroom as it was so big I was able to do this without compromising the room sizes. It has been a challenge but I was delighted with the finished result. It is now time for me to move on and someone else to enjoy being here as much as I have.
