When the children pile through the door at the end of the school day they won't be moaning about the bus or the lengthy walk home, as a detour to the shops takes only a few extra minutes and they can easily pop along to pick up a few daily essential for you and stretch their legs at the weekend. When it comes to homework they have their own room at the front of the house to sit quietly and concentrate, once they are tucked up in bed you can check your emails and balance the accounts away from the tv and the rest of the family. The sunny garden brings light into the lounge/diner even on the dullest of days, whether you need a garden for a glass of wine and reading a book or space for the children to play, you'll be delighted with the way the garden has been designed , easy to maintain with a flash of colour from the plants and generous enough in size for summer celebrations with your friends and family. From the bedrooms at the rear you can catch a glimpse of the downs and Sussex countryside across the village roof tops, country walks with the family dog are in abundance within easy reach.Catch the bus at the end of the road into Horsham, the children can go and meet their friends at the weekend or jump on the train into London for a birthday treat.
What the Owner says:
We have lived here for the last26 years as a family of five and are now looking to downsize. Our children all went to the three local schools which all have very good Ofsted reports. You are just five minutes walk away. The Weald school has a public swimming pool, a good gym with other exercise classes. There are some great cycle routes, fantastic walking and places to chill in. There are many things for the children to take part in. My children have never been bored living here. Horsham is a good sized lovely country town and only 8 miles away. You are also only a 35 minute drive from the coast.
