The Vendor's View - We moved to St. Margaret's in 1964 and this property was our parents' home for almost 30 years. They always loved its feel and, of course, the stunning views.
Our father used to love sitting with his binoculars and telescope in the enclosed balcony between the two bedrooms which has a picture window looking across the channel to France. On a very clear day he'd tell you the time on the Calais Clock-tower! He'd love just watching the boats, ships and general water traffic going about their business. There is always something different to see.
St Margaret's is a wonderful village, with the beach, the famous white cliffs and a great community. There are very good pubs, hotels and restaurants along with a post office and local shop. There is also a great variety of clubs and societies for just about everything you could want to do.
Although its tucked away with no through traffic, St Margarets is very accessible for Deal and Dover, as well as the good road and rail links, including the HS1 for London St.Pancras.
This house was a great home for our parents, it has a lovely, comfortable atmosphere and we always enjoyed sitting with them out on the front terrace enjoying the sunshine and the glorious view.
