Full depth sitting/dining room, gleaming bathroom and recently refitted kitchen on ground floor. Double glazing, GCH via Worcester combi boiler, a scattering of original features and lots of potential for rear extension subject to permissions. Sole Agents.

Odd Down playing fields (off Bloomfield Rd) now offers a revamped local sports hub with superb cycling facilities, sports facilities and acres of local green space. Alternatively, Englishcombe Valley countryside walks are just the other side of Old Fosse Rd.

Odd Down (Odda's Hill is the most reliable translation) is the crossroads of two of Britain's historical linear landmarks, the Wansdyke and the Roman Fosse Way. The Wansdyke (Woden's Dyke) has two sections of which the western line of earthworks runs from Bathampton Down & Monkton Combe to Maes Tump on Dundry Down in Somerset. 2007 excavations suggested that the line continued to the hill forts above the Avon Gorge. The Wansdyke may be compared to both Offa's Dyke (later, and forming a Mercian border with Wales) and Hadrian's Wall (earlier, and forming a border between Britannia & Caledonia) as one of the largest defensive earthworks in the United Kingdom.
